Jardim Botanico in Rio de Janeiro


I wont be in Rio for carnaval, at least I'll ve seen a glimpse of the city before to get to the project.

It was a horrible day, a chaos in my head. After 17h of airplanes with changes, I arrived quite tired in Rio at 8h in morning time. I made a 2h busdrive to Gaveia to have a walk in Jardim Botanico and had to head back alread

It contains Jaqueiras, Palmeiras, Bromelario, Orchideario, Herbario, Plantas Medicinais, ... unbelievable.

It contains several lakes and fountains. Here U can see more details:



Here below we spot a greenhouse of Cactus.

Boat and snorkel trip - Ilhas Paradisicos And again, despite the rain conditions; the water was still full of life ! Praia da piedade - loads of wildlife. Ancient rich people have built a 'POUSADA' here. Turtles;  A short movie ... Pictures . Trunkfish I also started to freedive more intensively. With my local equipment I can reach about 8,5 m( Jezus, where is my 10 m record ?)
